A couple weeks ago I shared a link to photoboother - a site where you can upload pictures from your computer to create a faux photobooth strip. Super fun for mini albums and journals and what-not.
Well, have you heard of "The Photocabine"?! This one is so fun too! On this site, you use your camera on your computer to take a quick series of pictures (about 5 seconds to take 4 pictures)- and you can create a long photostrip or a square one. You can make them color or black and white, and I love the vintage-y grunge look to the pictures. I took a few for an example (I won't tell you how many different photostrips I took to get this silly one :)). And nevermind my messy workspace in the background. Or my horrible posture ;).

photoboother
Have you heard of photoboother?! It's a fun website where you can upload your own photographs, choose a frame, and create your own photostrip. You can then download it, email it to yourself, or order prints. Such a fun idea to create your own faux-photobooth photo strips. Perfect to create and use in journals or mini albums!
I created this little photostrip of a "Date Night with My Love" (I resized the image, as they print out nice and large, but I wanted a small version for a 4"x6" album) and put it into a mini album along with some journaling about our evening :)

a few of my fave books
I am a huge lover of books. I love books. There is nothing like holding a printed book in your hands. I do not have a reading tablet at this point- but I am pretty sure that if I ever do, I will still love to collect actual books :)
I'm sure tablets are great because you can store all your books in one place, take it with you on trips, and not have to drag a whole reusable grocery bag full of books with you (I'm guilty of this ;)). But man, there is nothing like flipping through crisp pages, looking at the pictures and text, and smelling the ink on the page (Weird, I know. I LOVE smelling new books ;)). Maybe it's because I love paper so much :)
The books sit behind my computer on my desk. Always at an arm's reach if I am working and need to look something up, find inspiration, etc.
What about you? Do you have a tablet to read on? Do you love it? Do you love having books too or not so much?

A Fabulous New Way to View Blogs
Jessica over at How About Orange (love her blog) shared this super fun way to view blogger blogs the other day. You view images from each post (you can view them as a mosaic, snapshots- which look like polaroid shots, like a memory game (below), as well as a couple other ways) - each image links to that particular post. SO cool! My fave is flipcard, which looks like the memory game. Go here to see my blog as an example. Or just type in a full blog address and add /view/flipcard to the end. How cool is that!?
